Jenna went back to Mary and soon, Brian came back to the 'apartment' with Leighanne.
"Hey Nicky!"
"It's 'Nick', Leigh-leigh." he told her with mock enthusiasm, "Remember?"
Brian rolled his eyes, "Well, you look nice, Nick."
Nick grinned but didn't reply, so Brian went on, "You'll match Mandy.. she's wearin' somethin' like that."
Nick didn't even flinch as Brian continued, "She's really looking forward to this.. we're goin' to the club where y'all had y'er first New York date!"
"That's nice.." muttered Nick.
Leighanne giggled, "Well.. will you be talking to her before tonight?" she pushed a few strands of hair back, "She's at the Parkland estates place, but Brian said we could both move in here while we're here in New York.. for our auditions... stay with y'all for a bit."
'That's nice." replied Nick, lamely.
Brian winced, "Um.. so.. we'll meet you at Planet Hollywood later tonight? Say seven-ish?"
"Uh huh." he replied without turning to look at them.
Leighanne laughed, "You're such a cutie, Nick! Well.. we were just out with Ellie and her beau and she wanted us to get her address book and wallet from her room while we were here.. where is it?"
"Brian sleeps with her, ask 'him'! Nick replied, cockily.
Leighanne's smile faded, "What's with you, Nick? Why are you being such a wanker today? Here I am tryin' to be nice, and you can't even show me a bit of courtesy?!" she bit her lip when Nick didn't even turn to look at her, "Whatever Nick... whatever.."
Leighanne and Brian dug around their messy room to get Ellie's things and Brian left soon after, while Leighanne stayed to talk to Jenna and Mary a little, she walked in as they were messing around for shoes,
"Hey y'all!"
"Hey!"
"What's up?"
"Nothin' at all.."
Leighanne smiled at looked at Mary, "Well, y'all sure look nice today, don't ya, hon!?" Leighanne smiled widely, "Well.. what is the occasion?"
Mary grinned, "Um.. just dinner... with a friend.."
"Oh.. well Brian told me you were datin' one of them Brewer boys"
"Yea.."
"Well, now that's just spiffy, ain't it?"
"Sure..."
"Now I reckon y'all been together long, plannin' to get married any time soon?"
Mary's face was plastered with guilt, "Um.. no.. not really.."
"Well, ain't that a shame? They're dolls, they are!" Leighanne playfully pushed Mary's shoulder with her index finger.
She fell off the bed.
