"What?" I asked when he was standing next to me.
"Nothing, just wanted to talk."
"Oh. About what?"
"Brian."
"What about him?"
"Do you like him?"
"Yea, I like all you guys. Where's Angie?"
"With Kevin. I mean 'like' like Brian?"
"OK, so what grade are we in again?"
"Hey, I wouldn't be talking. I'm not the one wearing pig tails."
"Shut up!"
"So, do you like him?"
"AJ, I don't know OK? I just broke up with someone. It hasn't been easy
on me."
"Care to tell me about it?"
"He told me it was him or the tour. I told him if we really loved each
other, than we could make it. He said I was just being selfish. I said at
least I wasn't being an asshole, and then I left without saying goodbye."
"LO, I'm sorry."
"Don't be, you aren't the asshole." Then I walked off to the bus. When I
got there, I picked up my cell phone and dialed my best friends number.
"Hello?"
"Hi JJ, is Rachel there?"
"Yea, hold on LO."
"How are ya Jake?"
"Good, John misses you."
"Good for John."
"LO, why won't you talk to him?"
"Why should I? It's over."
"Here's Rach."
"I miss you Jake, I'll see you in two weeks."
"OK. Miss ya too. Bye."
"Hello?"
"Hi RO!"
"Laura! Hiya hun! Whats'up?"
"Nothing, just bored and called to talk."
"Cool. So when ya coming home?"
"Not for awhile, we open for the whole world tour. I am coming for a show
in two weeks."
"Cool. So... am I gonna get full access?"
"Of course Rach!"
"LO, I'm sorry to cut this short, but I gotta go. Call me later, K?"
"K. I miss ya RO! I love you babe!"
"Love ya too! Bye babe!"
"Who was that?" AJ asked.
"Nonya."
"Nonya who?"
"Nonya business."
"Really LO. Who was it?"
"If you MUST know AJ, it was my friend Rachel. I just wanted to let her
know about the concert in two weeks."
"OK."
"OK, lets watch a movie, then we'll stop to eat."
"Yes ma'am."
