hey peeps. i'm really sorry about all of this...the lack of updates and stuff, but i've really been having some pretty bad problems in real life. i'm still on the low end of a deep depression, so forgive me.

i pulled you all in here to tell you something.

I love the DoD, i really do. i still love ff7, and i still love writing...but I can't do this. not with all this shit that's been happening.

I'm not saying that i'm closing my beloved site down for good, i'm just saying that from now until...well, whenever life decides to stop being a bitch, you aren't going to see me much, or even at all.

I'm really sorry that i wasn't that good at this. i know most of you people out there don't even like me that much, and i'm seriously not asking for pity, but...i'm sorry. Zelda, Lady Gizmo, Athena...all you people who emailed me...everyone who inspired me to write...thanks. you don't know how much you helped me.

i'll try to come back, i really will. i'll try to come back and i'll try to bring fallen and my fanfics back with me. you probably aren't going to see a whole lot of me in the ff circles online...so i'll miss you. and hey...here's hoping i'll be back soon, okay?

Waaaiiii!!! *waves* 'Ello everyone!! O_O Tis me!!!! D-ccchhhhaaaaaaaa--- *S-M-A-C-K* *sweatdrop* Hiya. ^^; Akane Miata here. *looks around* I'm here to tell y'all that fallen's kinda sick right now. ^^; AND!! O_O To tell my side of the Anime Expo adventure. ^o^ Wheee!!!!! Sure, it's been like, three months since we went, but I couldn't help myself. ^^;; 8 hours in the car w/ D-chan, fallen, her bro, and a mass amount of spinich dip and Sailor Moon manga... was... one helluva experience, to say the least. ^^;;
It was pretty ummmmmmmmm....scary.... to leave the hotel room an' see anime characters walking around everywhere. o_o Tons of Ryougas, few Shampoos, few Ranmas, more Sailor Scouts than you could shake a stick at (>_<), but no Akanes. ;_; *sniffle* AND WE SAW AN UKYOU!! >_< Grrr... I sooooo wanted to take that spatula of her's and beat the crap outta her. ;_; Wish I did. But she was ugly enough as it was. ^^; She didn't need anymore disfigurements, anyway.
OY! O_O We got to watch "Croak and Dagger" on the big screen. *drools* O_O Raaannnmmmmmaaaaaa... ^o^ Majorly kewlzies, 'cept for those two bastards sitting behind us that kept dissing Akane. >=/ Hmph. Mostly, it was a VERY fun experience...except when we locked ourselves out of our room, leaving us key-less and money-less... (o_o;;;;) Of course, directly following that we hid in the girls' bathroom for like, an hour, due to a VERY traumatizing experience. (ewwwwwwwww.... x_x)
And then of course, Alvin dragged us around all the different video rooms, trying to find something good to watch. ^^;; We settled on Lupin the 3rd. O_o Or something. And on our way back from that, he began anxiously skipping towards the huge premiere of the Escaflowne movie, trying to figure out why there was such a massive crowd. ^^;;; Once we figured out what it was, it was too late, so we watched it. o_o VERY weird-ass movie. *sweatdrop* And fallen kept bouncing around in her seat next to me. O_o;; Must of had too much sugar. ^^;;;
Eh hee. I think I wanna go again next year, even if just to run from an over weight person and get locked in the stairwell one more time. ^~;;

Heehee. ^^ Yup. I dragged you all in here to hear my story about my rather-old trip to Anime Expo. @_@ Yes, I know it was two weeks ago, but I'm bored, alright?? Yes, I'm in Japan. -_-;; But I'm waiting for my ride.
It was an...erm, interesting 8 hour drive down to Anaheim...@_@ I had no idea that my stomach could hold that much spinach dip while simultaneously containing my half of the bag of Doritos. And, wow. O_O Don't read gory manga in the car while stuffing your face. *ahem* Yes. Anyway, due to some unavoidable circumstances...*coughcoughbrother'slaundrycough*, we were about an hour and a half off schedule. ^^;; About normal for me, in other words.
*ahem* Highlights of the trip? I brought two hundred bucks with me, spent it all, and wished I had the rest of my money with me. *winces* Considering the fact that I just bought a playstation and I'm now in Japan, I'm very glad that I didn't. @_@;;;
I was wandering around the Disneyland Pacific hotel at all hours...and there was that one rather hilarious incident involving a flight of stairs and 7 locked doors. *sighs* O_O How was *I* supposed to know that they'd all be locked??
*blinks and shakes her head* And I'm still trying to get over seeing that Aeris at the dance/rave-imitation. O_o;;;;
Ano...my friend and I were gonna ask a Ryouga for directions. ^^;; That was pretty funny.
*giggles* And when I ran into a girl dressed as Mousse?? Of course, Akane's intelligent expression of surprise..."Mousse! Mousse! MousseMousseMousse!" *lol*
There were a bunch of people dressed up from FFs...O_o;; I'm in shock from the Cloud that I saw. ^^;; And then there was the ten year-old Aeris...still, the one group I saw with Irvine, Selphie, Rinoa, and Edea prolly had the best costumes there...
@_@ We got ushered into the Escaflowne movie by getting crammed between a Zell and someone from Utena...^^;;; We were still trying to figure out what we were in when the lights went out. ;_; I don't think my neck will ever be the same..the damned guy in front of me kept moving every six seconds. -_-;;;
^o^ It was fun! And I kept seeing all these people...like Raijin (O_O there were a lot of those...), Seifer (WAAAAIIIIIII!!!! ^o^), Tifa (BWAH! MORE TIFAS THAN AERISES [-_-;; or whatever the plural for Aeris is.]), that one Cloud (O_O I didn't know that you could do that much w/ gel.), lotsa Ryogas (Whoo-hoo! ^~), a couple Shampoos, and lotsa lotsa LOTSA other peoples. But, hai, it was fun to wonder if any of the people wandering around were people i knew online...

*sighs* Okay, I swear I'm not lying...but as soon as I got all the material together for an update, guess what happens?? Yup. My computer dies. I saved all my files and stuff, but I'm going to have to initialize my hard drive, so...yeah, it'll take awhile. *hangs head* I'm so sorry, everyone, but I don't know what happened to my computer! I might have gotten a virus from this dude...but...*sighs again* Yeah. So please be patient with me, everyone.
Oh! And I have a summer job. ^^;;;; I'll be working w/ webpages and stuff, though, so...I'll try my best, minna-san! I really do have big plans!

*sniffles, then sneezes* Thanks to a bout of fallen's stupidity, no one actually knew that I updated this before I left. @_@ Oopsie. Anyway...this is just to let you know what's coming up...Unfortuntately, not only did I bring some cool stuff back from Canada, I got reeeeaaalllllly sick. ;_; According to my famous-doctor aunt, my throat was almost purple. And now I have a nasty fever and should be sleeping, but oh well. ^^;;; I like y'all better anyway.
Okay, off the topic there, fallen. @_@ Well...I was really hoping to get this update, well, up, soon...but I'm pretty sick...I have an appointment tomorrow...I get to help my buddy w/ FFVII (*sighs* FF7...how I miss you...^~), and then...Ooh! ^o^ *turns to D-chan* Oy! Remind me to update on Wednesday, would ya??
Okay...upcoming updates....one new fic...or is that two?? And a poem...or three. Some new chapters, and fixed/new links...LCBB6, LCBB Side Story 1, and lucky for all of you, i've held myself back from starting another fic, even if I was writing madly on the plane...*sighs* I'm afraid that most of my inspiration has been for Digimon, people. *weak smile* I do have a wickedly wicked story planned for you in LCBB, though! @_@ If I can write it right...
Anyway, thanks to those of you that stuck with me...I definitely have big plans for this site, so...well, I don't have time for revamp till July (see the entry below for my travelling dates), but at least I have a fairly calm summer...If I don't update before I leave for Anime Expo in LA on Thursday, then BAAIIII! *huggies* Please jus' wait a little longer...the updates'll start rolling in, once my muse works again!!!

*sighs* Ah, well...I've been through much these past weeks...I've cried and laughed, yelled and--*gets rotten vegetables lobbed at her* @_@ nevermind.
Annnnyway...there IS an update coming up, oh, you better believe there's an update coming...I'm waiting...it'll include a few new links, a few new fanfics, and both a new part and a side story for LCBB. But that's not the big thing...this summer, I'm going to be revamping, including adding in sections for Ranma, collecting stuff for videogames, and possibly adding a Digimon section.
BUT!
@_@ I'm going to be gone most of the first half of summer, June 19-26, June 30-July 3, July 8-??.
So here's what I'm going to try to do...I'll try to get the first update in between now and when I leave for the first trip. I'll try to get small updates in once in awhile, but I don't think I'll get a lot of typing done...writing, maybe, but not typing, mmkay?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!! MY RELAY TEAM WON! WE'RE THE LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!!!!!! YAHAHAHAAAA!! ^^;;; Of course, this all happened on Thursday, but give me a break. I've been busy. @_@ Flunking out of my elective busy. Yes.

Okay, so I'm feeling pretty good today. My relay team is undefeated, and I'm doing okay in school, not great, but okay. I've been getting feedback on my DIGIMON fics, and when I come home, I figure, hey, why not work on something FFVII for the DoD. I decide to sort through my email, see what people have been telling me...
Nothing. Nothing, nothing, nothing..."I like your Digimon fics." "Your Matt fics are really good." "YOU RULE! Your Digimon fics kick ASS!"
My point? Well, dear visitors of my site...NO FEEDBACK=UNHAPPY FALLEN. UNHAPPY FALLEN=FALLEN WRITING WHAT PEOPLE COMPLIMENT HER MOST FOR. FALLEN WRITING WHAT PEOPLE COMPLIMENT HER MOST FOR=FALLEN WRITING DIGIMON FICS. FALLEN WRITING DIGIMON FICS=FALLEN NOT WORKING ON LCBB, WHAT YOU HAVE, ASKOP, OR ANY NEW IDEAS.
My point is that if feedback is given to me, I am one happy fallenangel, so I write more of that kind of fic. I'm genuinely considering posting my Digimon fics, because people tell me they're pretty good...and I've written them faster than any other kind of fic I've written. If people'd give me a better idea of what to do, not that there are a whole lot of you out there, but it'd help a hella lot, mmkay? Yes.

I am so incredibly proud of my baby. *hugs DoD* Aaaanyway, that's not what I dragged all of you in here to say. *sweatdrop*
The facts of the matter are that I am completely bogged down. I have to juggle my schoolwork, which is already begginning to slide, around, along with other things. I have track, and other school activities that I've been invited to partake in. I have so much to do it's not even funny.
My already strained body is kind of losing it. I can't really afford to put off sleep to work on my writing and website anymore, especially if I want to do my team any good. We're pretty sucky enough as it is, really.
I have some really big testing coming up, as well as a lot of tests and exams and projects that are due.
As a result, I feel that my writing is suffering. Like, a lot. I just don't have time to put it through the refinement I want to. I'll be gone almost all of spring break, so that's not much help.
I love LCBB and the DoD to death, but I don't have the time or energy that they deserve, so...

HAH! Fooled ya. Bet some of you thought I was gonna close, ne? ^~;;; heh. I'm too stubborn for that.
BUT! But, but, BUT! I meant what I said. I don't have the time or energy to put into writing or updates. What I'm saying is that I'll try as hard as I can to update, but basically don't expect too much unless things lighten up. If I'm magically terribly, terribly inspired, I WILL write, but other than that I'm very sad to say that things will mostly slow down.
I think that I've been pretty decent about updates until recently, but I have to tell you that my grades have suffered a bit. Like, not good?
Knowing me, I'll prolly be magically inspired and update soon, but I'm not promising anything. If I do well enough to be running sprints for my team, I will have NO energy by the time practice is over. My academic and social life (both, admittedly, mostly non-existent and of which I don't have a lot of fondness for.) are VERY hectic, and I'm just lucky that I won't be resuming music lessons till June.
BUT! As soon as I find time, my baby is going to be the bestest it's ever been, and you'd better believe it! *pats the DoD*
I also need your opinion. I'll likely be working on LCBB 6 and 7, a bit at a time. Would you rather I put them up one at a time, with a lot of time between them, or both at once? Either way, as I said before, unless I'm terribly and magically inspired (which seems to happen at the ODDEST times...), nothing new that's halfway decent will be up.
Thank you so much to people who have commented on my work, Zelda especially. You are the people who inspire me to write, because I know that someone out there wants to read it.
Also, since the poll shows that pretty much most peeps want other video games, as soon as I have time and energy, the guidelines for those will be going up.
And there is a fifty percent chance that I will be starting a site for either Digimon or Ranma or both. When I have time.

Okay. That sucked. One of my dogs ended up stuck in the sun for over two hours, and I spent over half an hour with a hundred pounds of dog sitting on me. With thorns in my legs. Ow.

Well...I'll prolly be taking this down once it's served it's purpose. I just realized that I meant to make a page for ANNOUNCEMENTS AND INFO, you know what I mean? Like, someone asked what video games, exactly, went under the category of other video games, stuff like that...
Y'know, I finished my second Digimon fic today. Yet, I still have next to no progress on my FF7 fics. Well, not lately, anyway. I just...I can't write happy things!!! *wails* I dun know what's wrong with me!!! I just can't!!! ;_;
Er...apparently, Nirvana, caffeine, sugar, and depression is a recipe for inspiration. Weird, huh? I ended up starting yet ANOTHER fic and writing some poem. Oh well.
I have decided that I'm a horrible, horrible writer that picks topics that are totally out of her capabilities to write about. Who ever told me I could write about Tifa, Lucas and Kat having a good time? *grumbles some more*
For my poll, the other video games will have to be games I've played...FF8 (sorta), SoM (yeah, right.), Soul Blade/Edge, Soul Calibur, uh...c'mon, I KNOW I've played other video games...Lunar: SSSC (um...not much of that, really.), like, that much FFTactics (well, more than Lunar.), and, um...I KNOW I've played more games than that...Zelda: Ocarina of Time (um, not that I know of any fanfiction for that), uh..I played a bit of FF2/4jp...that's all I can think of right now. Yes, it's sadly pathetic list, but YOU try playing tons of games without a Playstation, ne?
