Sephiroth's Sister

"You are going to pay for what you have done!" Sephiroth roared, flying at Jenova in fury. "You manipulated me and made me kill innocent people!"

Cloud, beside him, hacked at her with his sword, but at every stroke he noticed that it did not seem to harm Jenova.

"Heaven’s Judgement!" Aeris shouted using her attack limit striking at Jenova.

"Ha, Ha, Ha it will take more than that to harm me." Jenova laughed hitting out at Reeve.

He took one look at her before giving way to his anger. "Megablast!" he called raising his gun. A blast of fiery red energy erupted from his gun, hitting Jenova and causing some damage.

Tifa started to hit Jenova with her fists, but, seeing that it was not causing any damage, moved back. "Giga flare!" she called, summoning the monster known as Bahamut Zero.

"CHAOS!" Vincent roared turning into the Chaos beast and attacking with his chaos sabre.

"All Creation!" Yuffie yelled, using her ultimate limit in the hope of damaging Jenova.

"This is not working." Red commented to no-one in particular, just as Barret collided with him.

"Stop being such a #^$* optimist." Cid replied. "Cure 3." He cast a healing spell on Red and Barret.

Sephiroth and Cloud fell back. "We have to destroy the black materia, then Jenova will be destroyed along with it." Sephiroth said.

"How the hell are we gonna do that?" Barret wanted to know.

"Beats me." Cloud replied healing himself.

Outside the Highwind Reno, Rude and Elena were not idle, after they had managed to get Marlene aboard five creatures attacked them.

"This is not good." Reno said. "Let’s show Avalanche what the Turks can do." rallying the others.

"TURK light!" Rude yelled slamming into one of the creatures.

"Fire 3!" Elena shouted, casting her most powerful spell. The fire hit all five of the creatures and killing the one that Rude had just hit.

"Two down, three to go!" Reno commented, killing a second creature by electrocuting it with his night-stick.

One of the creatures jumped at Elena and bit her arm. She fell onto the ground in pain. "Damn, Reno watch out, their bite is poisonous!" she called feeling the poison working in her.

"Elena, Rude do you have Heal or a remedy?" Reno asked, killing the creature that had just bitten Elena.

"No!" Rude said, punching one of the two remaining monsters.

A new voice from above them rang out. "Poisona!"

Marlene had seen what was unfolding below and had grabbed a heal materia from the first aid kit on board the Highwind.

"Marlene, get back inside!" Rude called up to her as Elena got up.

"That is it!" she said and threw a grenade between the monsters, killing them both.

"Ok, now what?" Rude asked leaning against the Highwind’s hull.

"We wait." Reno replied.

"I bet you would help my dad if you were awake." Angel heard someone say. Opening her eyes she saw a young girl looking at her. "What’s happening?" she asked, getting up.

"Daddy has gone to fight that creature with Uncle Cloud." Marlene said. "The Turks are outside the ship looking after me."

"Oh damn! I have to go and help them." Angel said picking up her sword and running as fast as she could towards the deck of the Highwind.

When she got to the deck she saw the Turks being attacked by a large dragon.

"How the hell are we supposed to kill that?!" she heard Reno complain, using his night-stick on the creature. "It took all of us last time to kill one!"

"Ultimate end!" Angel shouted using the most powerful summon she had learnt.

"What the!" Elena said as they looked up to see Angel cast the spell. Once the creature was dead, she flew down to the ground. "I’ll go and help the others, be prepared for a large explosion." and left them staring as she ran through the opening in the wall.

"I hope she is strong enough." Reno commented.

"Omnislash!" Cloud yelled hitting Jenova with his ultimate limit.

"Supernova!" Sephiroth cast a powerful summon that damaged Jenova severely.

"Freeze!" Red shouted.

"Ultima!" Yuffie cast the ultimate magic attack.

"Now you will die!" Jenova said menacingly."By the power of the black materia I call DARK HOLY!"

A blackness fell on the group, and smothered them in evil energy. Blood red lightning crackled hitting each of the members of the party. When the blackness had dissipated only Aeris was still standing. "Great gospel!" she called, reviving the party.

Cloud stood up ready for another battle when the black materia was knocked from Jenova’s outstretched hands.

Angel stood before them her sword crackling with white lightning. "Do you want to try that again?" she inquired, moving towards the black materia. "Aeris, I need your help." She started to raise her sword.

Aeris walked over towards the materia and raised her staff, white lightning started to play over its surface, and together they brought their weapons down on the small materia orb.

"NOOOOO!" Jenova screamed as the orb shattered into dust.

"She can be destroyed now!" Aeris shouted to Cloud.

"Omnislash!" "Multislash!" Cloud and Sephiroth called repeatedly hitting Jenova with their swords.

"Cosmo Memory!" Red shouted, hitting her with the power of the universe, finishing her off.

The cavern started to tremble and rocks started to fall.

"We have got to get outta here!" Yuffie panicked, running towards the exit of the cavern. Reeve intercepted her and dragged her back before a rock the size of a house fell in front of the exit.

"^$^%$, lady luck don‚t fail me now!" Cid prayed.

The trembling stopped and strands of green energy flowed around them. „ "What is going on?" Cloud asked in confusion. "Why is the Lifestream here?"

* Well done * the planet boomed out into the cavern. Sephiroth looked around. "Who is that?" he asked.

"It is the Planet, Seph." Angel told him, smiling. "Looks like the planet forgives you as well."

* You have done well, protectors of the planet * the planet said. The strands of the Lifestream became a sheet of energy and the cavern faded from view.

Cloud looked around, they were on the deck of the Highwind with the Turks looking at them in awe.

"How did you get here?" Rude asked.

"The planet transported us here." Aeris said walking down to the bridge of the Highwind.

"What did it mean back in the cavern?" Cid asked curiously. "You are a protector of the planet and so is Angel, so why did it say that to all of us?"

Angel laughed „ The purpose of the Lifestream there, was to acknowledge you as protectors of the planet, you are Cetra now‰ Everyone stopped talking and looked at her.

"You are joking right?" Reeve asked breaking the silence.

"Nope." Aeris said walking away. "Let’s go home."
