University of Maine Goaltending has been the stabilizer during the 2006-07 season at the University of Maine, and that influence should lead the Black Bears back to the NCAA tournament for the ninth straight year. Six-foot-seven Ben Bishop is an imposing target in net. The St. Louis Blues prospect has the nation's fifth best goals-against average (1.75) and has allowed only two goals in the last three games. Bishop turned aside 26 shots by Western Michigan University in route to an 8-4 victory over the Broncos and a berth in the championship game in the invitational Florida Winter College Classic.
