Cornell University Cornell is making due without last year's Florida Winter College Classic MVP David McKee. The goalie left school early to sign with Anaheim, leaving sophomore Troy Davenport (7-2-0, 2.48 goals against average) to fill some big shoes. "That was certainly was a big question mark coming into this season, but Troy has done a really solid job and given us opportunities to win," said Cornell coach Mike Schafer. Davenport handled the first game of the well, making 17 saves in route to a 5-2 win over the University of New Hampshire. He did not fair so well in the final round, allowing 4 goals on 17 shots, and being pulled in favor of freshman Ben Scrivens. All photos taken December 29, 2006 at Germain Arena, Estero, Florida.
