Cornell University Before Cornell: After beginning his collegiate career with Cornell in the 2004-05 season, Davenport left the East Hill and has spent the past two seasons with the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL. During that time he competed in 52 games and posted a 2.83 goals against average and a .913 save percentage. He also led the Bucs to the 2006 USHL Tier I national championship with a 21-12 record. An honor roll student at Simley HS, Davenport was named the Minnesota high school hockey all-state goalie in 2003 and played for the 2002-03 state runner-up. Davenport was named MVP of the Chicago Showcase and played at the Select 17 Festival. Personal: Troy Douglas Davenport is the son of Robert and Joan Davenport. He has two older brothers, an older sister and two younger sisters. Davenport is enrolled in Cornell's College of Arts and Sciences.
