The "He-said, he-said" with then Panthers General Manager Mike Keenan not withstanding, Luongo's posturing on his contract negotiations made it evidently clear he did NOT want to play in Florida following the 2005 season, at which point he was traded to Vancouver.

By that point, most of the fans were of the attitude of "Don't let the door hit you on the way out, buddy!"
