Green-Sky Profiles
Raamo
Neric
Genaa
Pomma
Teera
D'ol Falla
Raamo D'ok
Age: 13
Race: Kindar
Title: Ol-Zhaan/Ny-Zhaan/Rejoyner
Relatives: Hearba (mother), Valdo (father), Pomma (sister)
Most Prominent Trait: Curiosity
Profile: Kind, loving, and curious, Raamo is faithful to his friends but is also careful not to blindly follow ideas or plans that seem impractical to him, without first seeking the motives behind such plans or the truth behind a deception. His first obligation is to the people of Green-Sky, and he selflessly dedicates himself to the Rejoyning after discovering that Neric's suspicions are, in fact, truth; he even almost gives his life to save Green-Sky in an act of superlative selflessness.
Raamo loves Neric, D'ol Falla, Genaa, and above all, Pomma and Teera, but he is cautious to hide any obvious emotion and acts far older than his years. He can say more with his silence than most can with words, and his Spirit level is higher than most, if not all, other Kindar, at least before Uniforce is established between Pomma and Teera, making him the undisputed Spirit-Leader of Green-Sky in the eyes of the people, as holy as the two children.
left to right: Charn, Genaa, Pomma (with sima), Neric, Herd, lapan
Neric D'akt
Age: around 16
Race: Kindar
Title: Ol-Zhaan/Rejoyner
Relatives: unknown
Most Prominent Trait: Skepticism
Profile: Doubting describes Neric, who was initially overwhelmed by the feeling of fame and power, but he soon overcame it to satisfy his curiosity that nagged at his mind due to deep-founded doubt about the true nature of the Ol-Zhaan. He is fiercely loyal to the end, and he truly loves those who gain his trust, like Raamo. He distrusts most who have either not earned his confidence or who have proven deceptive in the past; because of this, his relationship with D'ol Falla is less than ideal, as is his with Genaa at first and even stretching to the Rejoyning Celebration.
Neric may be impetuous at times and seem easily provoked, but that is only because of his eagerness to achieve good. He has a deeply-rooted sense of what is right and what is wrong, and he will not hesitate to share his perceptions with others, but he knows well when to speak and when to be silent; however, he is most often the more vocal one of the pair of him and Raamo.
Raamo is the most important person in Neric's life, since he helped Neric to achieve his dream of finding out the mystery of what lies below the Root and that Ol-Zhaan/Geets-Kel's roles in all of the strange happenings; not only this, but he has consistently proven that he can be trusted by Neric, who repays this by a bond stronger than any friendship.
Neric's impetuous nature sometimes gets him in trouble, but he is also well-skilled in Spirit and in persuasive speech, even though he uses his gift less often than Raamo, if it can be believed. All in all, his heart is in the right place even if his methods can sometimes be youthfully rash.
Genaa D'anhk
Age: 13
Race: Kindar
Title: Ol-Zhaan/Rejoyner
Relatives: Jorda(mother), Hiro (father)
Most Prominent Trait: Persuasiveness
Profile: Possessed of incredible talent in expression and reading of others, Genaa is the ideal diplomat and does exceedingly well in saving both her and Neric's lives when they go below the Root to retrieve Hiro D'anhk for their plan. Even in the face of the Ol-Zhaan, she can belittle their words and efforts by making them or those around them feel that they are unimportant or, conversely, she can escalate someone to the heights of elation with her expressions and subtle manipulation of others.
At first, her distrust and even hatred of Teera, as an Erdling, is obvious and at one point it seems as if she might even kill the child, but somehow she is won over, no doubt due to the influences of the various people around Teera, such as Pomma and Raamo, and also in no small part Teera herself. Above all, this shows Genaa is a caring individual above all, even though at times she may seem rude or unpleasant.
Genaa cares for the other two Rejoyner Ol-Zhaan near her age, but she seems to be only friends with them and only interested in such, a very independent girl. Her main priority was getting her father back from Erda, and now that her goal has been achieved, she seems less excited about the rest of the Rejoyning but assists in it as best she can, and her father helps also by attempting to reconcile the two peoples, since he had lived with both.
Overall, Genaa is very caring but Neric was right; she is sometimes a little bit selfish and concerned only with the things that matter to her. However, when things depend on her assisting the greater cause, she will do so without hesitation.
Pomma D'ok
Age: 9
Race: Kindar
Title: Holy
Relatives: Hearba (mother), Valdo (father), Raamo (brother)
Most Prominent Trait: Selfless concern
Profile: From the beginning, Pomma is the light of hope for the future, and she is almost representative of the condition of Green-Sky as she goes through various conditions during the unfolding saga of the Rejoyning, then finally moving to the forefront along with Teera and taking command of the course, inasmuch as they can.
Pomma and Teera get along extremely well from day one, when the Erdling girl is brought to the D'ok nid-place. Playing children's Spirit-skill games, eventually they train themselves to such a point where they are able to ignite the Uniforce through their intensely strong bond between them. Teera is the person who is undoubtedly closest to Pomma due to their bond, but Raamo knows her better than any other, and she loves Raamo more than any other as well.
She seems not to fear authority even though she does give respect to most and always looks on the bright side of things, even if she is something of a dreamer at times. However, Pomma is a child, and children are expected to dream, but she also possesses a keen mind that is a great asset.
Teera Eld
Age: 9
Race: Erdling
Title: Holy
Relatives: Kanna (mother), Herd (father)
Most Prominent Trait: Passionate emotion
Profile: Teera emerged to the forest floor after a long, traumatic journey to save her lapan, Haba, from being killed and eaten by the Erdlings. Her love for the little creature transcended any other need, and she set out immediately, risking all to save a small life, and such is her personality and essence.
She possesses good Spirit-skills which she later hones with Pomma, and indeed she even time-images early in life, although her friends do not believe her initially. Since her grandmother was a Fallen, she imagines what her life was like and yearns to experience gliding for herself; she even goes so far as to fashion a makeshift shuba. This shows her dedication towards her dream and the way she will give everything to those things she believes in.
She and Pomma are the hope for Green-Sky, and they unite in a truly miraculous way, but the circumstances were made possible by two such passionate children, both of which possess great love for others and concern for life and well-being. Teera even keeps her bonds with old friends, which shows that her passionate concern for others' well-being extends to long after she may be separated from them.
While she is perhaps overly emotional and quick to cry, she often uses it as a defense against those who would do her harm or pry too deeply into something she would more optimally keep hidden. She is mostly a person who acts upon the things communicated to her by her heart, and she keeps her dedication to things as long as she possibly can.
D'ol Falla
Age: unknown; very old
Race: Kindar
Title: Ol-Zhaan/Geets-Kel/Rejoyner
Relatives: unknown
Most Prominent Trait: Life-force
Profile: D'ol Falla was the youngest inductee into the Geets-Kel, for her personality and her exceptional Spirit-skills, and for a time she was as the other Geets-Kel, deceptive and manipulating, but soon after she began that path, she turned off it, disgusted by the way the Geets-Kel used the Kindar people and cruelly controlled them and their lives. It was then that she was visited by D'ol Nesh-om in a vision that told her of Raamo...and she immediately prepared for his choosing.
D'ol Falla is dedicated to a cause, and even though sometimes she may act irrationally or perhaps as impetuously as Neric would, she always has everyone's best interests at heart and never wishes to cause anyone undue pain. She is always concerned for others, most especially Raamo and his circle of friends, and of course the children as well, most of all.
When she dedicates herself to a cause, she does not betray that cause, no matter what the consequences. She has almost infinite patience but cannot stand the suffering of others and will do anything within her power to alleviate that pain. D'ol Falla is one of the greatest allies that any cause could hope to have, and the Rejoyning, or at least the initial push in that direction, was her own idea before she was able to act, when Raamo was born.
