Hikaru, Umi, Fuu were standing in a crowd of people in a shopping center as the beam of light reached the earth. Frozen, the inhabitants of earth never saw the light. However, the three girls were transported to Cefiro as the powerful beam of light reached them. They were used to this by now, and each of them held each other's hand tigtly as they were transported through trans-dimentional space. Instead of falling though the air this time only to land on Fyula's back, they were standing in the same position they had left Tokyo in. Fuu looked around and then noted to the girls, "Hikaru-san, Umi-san. We have been transported back to Cefiro again."

Umi nodded. "Its a good thind today was Sunday and we had decided to go shopping together." Hikaru just looked around at the surroundings. They had been transported to the palace. They walked toward the main hall where there they heard voices. They opened the door find the other Cefiroians crowded around a small figure. Clef was holding his chest and breathing raggedly as Presea held him in her arms. He looked uncomfortable, but allowed the contact, mainly because of his fatigue. Suddenly his attention turned to the open door. "Umi! Hikaru! Fuu!" he said. "It worked."

The girls ran towards him and knelt down. "You summoned us here!" said Umi, almost as a challenge. She stood up and moved beside Ascot. "Why?"

"Yes, Clef-san. Why did you summon us?" said Fuu as she stood up beside Ferrio.

"You aren't strong enough to do that." said Hikaru softly as she too stood up and moved towards Lantis. "You have lost too much power."

Clef laughed. "Yes, I know I am not strong enough *by myself* to summon you. But our friends here and in the place where the creator sleeps felt kind enough to lend me their energy to summon you." Clef moved himself out of Presea's arms and began to stand. "I will recover sooner than you think. As for why you are here..." He stopped suddenly as an earthquake ripped through the earth. As it stopped, he began again. "As for why you are here, you have just felt it. Cefiro's earth is crying out in pain. We need your help again."

Clef was now fully standing and resting against the support of his staff. He was feeling better but he still felt tired. He looked out the window and saw that it was beginning to grow dark. "If you don't mind, I would like to turn in for the night a little early. This has made me tired and I don't think that a little sleep would hurt." Before anyone could answer, he turned and left the room.

The others were left standing in stunned silence as they watched him leave. As the door closed behind him, Umi breathed a sigh of relief. "Oh, I hope he will be okay." she said. The others nodded their heads in agreement. "How long has he been like this?"

"Like what?" said Presea. "I would think probably his whole life."

"No, I think she means about Cefiro." said Fuu. "I could see it in his eyes."

"There was pain there I have never seen before in him." said Hikaru. "I want to help him!" The other two girls nodded their heads in agreement.

"Right now, that is easier said than done." said Presia. "We haven's seen him in so long, but I think that there is something bothering him...or rather someone."

"What do you mean?" said Hikaru questioningly.

"I saw it too, Presia." said Lantis. "He talked about the pain of the earth as if it were his own."

"WHAA!" screamed Umi. "WHAAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!"

"Umi, Clef is in love with the earth." said Lantis softly.
