This is a listing of the major villians in the first season of Sailormoon.

Queen Metallia - Queen Metallia was the leader of the Dark Kingdom. She used Queen Beryl to further her conquest. She would occasionally infuse Beryl with power to help her along. At the end of the first season, Queen Metallia took over Beryl's body to fight Sailormoon and was destroyed.

Queen Beryl - Queen Beryl was Metallia's right hand woman. She did the grunt work. Well, actually, she had her four generals do it. She commanded them and sought out those who might have lots of energy for her evil plans. She was in love with Prince Endymion and had him brainwashed to her dark side. All her plans were for naught, when Metallia took over and was killed.

Jadeite - Jadeite is the lowest ranked of al the generals. He mainly uses illusions in his quest for energy. He often would diguise himself as well. He managed to find out who the first three senshi (Moon, Mercury and Mars) were, but, due to his many failures, Queen Beryl put him into an eternal sleep.

Nephrite - Nephrite was ranked third of the generals. He, somehow, had an old mansion in the middle of nowhere to concoct his schemes. He often went around town in an alter-personality, Sanjouin Masato, and drive around in a red sports car. He would consult the stars for his victim and take a personal item of thiers. He would infuse it with dark energy and the owner would become possesed and use up all thier energy. Nephrite was the creator of the Kurozuisho, or Star Crystal. It eventually led him to Naru, who he fell in love with. Nephrite was killed by one of Zoisite's youmas, protecting Naru.

Zoisite - Zoisite is ranked second of the generals. He was Kunzite's partner, pupil and lover. A power Zoisite was fond of using was thrusting his hand at someone and yelling 'Zoi!'. It didn't do much except knock people down. He would also use ice as daggers and when he would teleport away, he was surrounded in rose petals. Zoisite didn't do much except follow Kunzite around. He was dealt with when he tried to kill Tuxedo Kamen, against Beryl's orders.

Kunzite - Kunzite was the number one general and the most powerful. One of his main things to do was to watch over Endymion after he was brainwashed and keep him evil. He did, occansionally, go after people to get energy. But as he was doing that, Endymion would show up and mess everything up. He did his best to teach Zoisite how to be a good general. He was very calm, except in the matter of Endymion. He was killed by Sailormoon.

Monsters of the Day: Youma - Youma's were just the basic Monters of the Day for the first season. They were called upon to do the dirty work for the generals. They would hunt down a victim and suck the energy right out of them. Sailormoon and the others would then come along and destroy the youma and peace would be restored for another day.
