May 14, 2000: Got this info from Morphz a few days ago. They had a new press release and a couple of new screenshots. The price for the Game right is estimated around $29.99 U.S, it might go up or down, we'll just have to see. Also the only weird thing is that the Game Boy game looks like the format of Pokémon, anyway here's the article by the people at IGN:

The books and TV show were only the beginning. Earlier this year, UbiSoft entered into an agreement with Scholastic to produce a Game Boy Color game based on the popular Animorphs series. And E3 is where we get the first details on the game in development.

In this portable action adventure, the alien enemies – the Yeerks – have captured four microprocessors of a device that could help them take over the world. Assuming the roles of four Animorphs, you'll have to retrieve the microprocessors in five missions spanning 12 location. Problem is, if you spend more than two hours as an animal, you'll never be able to turn back into a human.

Each mission features an explore mode where you'll have to search out the area for vital information that'll give you morphs to more than 45 different animals. Then you enter Battle mode, where you fight against your opposition in a card-battle style game, much like Pokémon Trading Card Game. Finally, there's the side-scrolling mode where you put your morphing and animal skills to use.

What's more, the game will put the Ubi Key to use. This feature is utilized in most every UbiSoft Game Boy Color game – with this feature, you can use other UbiSoft games to unlock hidden features and games in Animorphs, as well as use Animorphs to unlock hidden levels and games in other UbiSoft titles. How? With two Game Boy Colors and the infrared port on each.

We'll have more details on Animorphs when it's shown to us at E3.

Wow, that Hork is freaky looking. That Run option is looking good... Hork to the North, Taxxon to the East -- who to battle first? Searching the library with Chapman hot on your trail... The opening movie -- look at all those spaceships and the disembodied head of a giant Hork-Bajir... Jake gets ready to fly... The opening screen. So, which is it -- New Game or Continue?

January 13, 2000:This is the article I found for the new Animorphs Game Boy color coming sometime this fall. I was first informed of this by my friend Pixlitte, later I went to Morphz to find that they had the same info too. Anyway here is the small article I got from IGN Pocket.

Animorphs on the Game Boy Color

Form of an eagle. Nah, I feel like being a wolf today.

UbiSoft today announced that it has entered a licensing agreement with Scholastic to bring the popular kids series Animorphs to the Game Boy Color

The game will be an action platformer game, following the adventures of five teenagers with the ability to transform into animals. You'll utilize these kids' powers to defeat the secret alien invasion of Earth, all the while eluding Human-Controllers and other aliens.

The Game Boy Color game should be ready to go this Fall.

Here is the screenshot I got with it too.
