CATCH 22 - Alone In A Crowd (Victory Records)
With an oldschool ska-core feel Catch 22 blend punk and ska into an interesting mix similar to what you'd get if you somehow combined the Voodoo Glow Skulls, Less Than Jake and Slapstick into one kick ass band. The music's tight, the band rocks and the songs are great, the only thing I find fault in is the production quality of the CD... it just sounds flat and as if it took the edge of the bands sound a bit. With any luck the next album will be a little bit better put together, however, in the mean time Alone In The Crowd is still totally worth picking up.
