Catch 22- Alone in a Crowd
This is another stellar release from Catch 22. If you are used to the Catch 22 from Keasbey Nights you are in for a surprise. They only have 3 original band members left and they lost their songwriter and singer. They do have a new sound, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. They're sound is a little bit heavier, but did not change enough to make you stop liking them.
As soon as you get to track 3 ("It Takes Some Time"(which is available at their website)) you know that Catch hasn't lost there touch. Then they have a song trilogy consisting of "What Goes Around Comes Around","Bloomfield Ave.",and Neverending Story" .that is amazing. They have toned down the trumpets a little in this album. It is even more skacore than before. The lyrics haven't changed much though. They are still as good as before. It is surprising how good and how true to themselves they still sound after the addition of all these new members.
All the songs on this album are good in my opinion. Catch did a great job on their second full length album and they recieve all the credit that i give them. Buy their album and supoport this awesome band!
Score: 9.6 out of10
