Review of Catch 22
Catch 22 is a great band from my part of New Jersey. They are now on Victory Records and are reajusting their band members. They are currently on tour all over the US.
Frist time I saw Catch 22, I didn't actually see them the whole time they played because they were playing at King Buffet in Clinton, NJ. Which is actually a restaurant turned venue on Friday nights. (King Buffet doesn't practice this anymore but it did at the time I first saw them.) To tell you the truth they didn't really make a lasting impression on me until the 2nd time I saw them play.
#2 was at the Villa in Washington in May of 1998. There was one of the smallest crowds ever at this venue. No more that 30 people. But all of them were dancing and havin' a good old time. The singer at the time was so talented and into his music.
#3 I didn't actually stay for and I'll tell you the reason. In Decemeber of 1998, Catch 22's singer quit the band, could of been in November. And so Catch 22 was having stand-in singers and I wasn't into that. They now have one of the horn players singing and a new bassist, Pat K.
