As the heat waves of summer approach I find myself remodelling a frangipani flower. Compared with the one I did in 2000 (one of the first models I ever did. Click to see) this one is worlds better. Using textures I made in Photoshop and Area Shadows (a new feature in 3ds max 5 that blurs a shadow as the distance of the object increases) this little flower possesses a different sort of cartoon realism that I really want to develop.
