The Anti-Aircraft Gun

Now this model was tricky! Those who've seen my previous works will notice that none of them are optimised to this degree. The budget given by the team was 2500 polygons, however this model utilizes less than half that, with a final polygon count of 1180. The modelling process required important advice and an archive of old B&W pictures from a member of the development team.

I made a 512x512 image map (pictured alongside) from a multitude of intricate individual models and used it with UVW Map Modifiers to cause the desired textures to conform to their objects. A long but rewarding process.
