well, i'm back from a looong trip to europe, of which one of the highlights was definitely the s-k show in nuernberg. we drove 2 hours from munich, and waited about 3 hours for the show to start (but we got to hear the soundcheck, so it was worth it). i met some euro-kinney words+guitar kids (totally by accident) and a bunch of really other cool people. the show was awesome awesome awesome, i dont have the setlist, kevin or jannika (whoever has it) will have to post the songs from it. they did two encores. when they came back out the second time, my friend and i yelled "fortunate son!" while carrie was standing in from of us talking to corin, and she gave us a look like "huh?" and then they played it. after the show my friend asked corin if she would take a picture with us (since i'm too big of a chicken) "for the scrapbook" and she said she would get carrie and janet and come over after they packed all their gear up. but carrie and janet ran off somewhere, and we all had to leave since we had a long drive home (and an 11.30 flight to chicago the next day) so we just got a picture with corin. she was really nice, we talked awhile about their tour, and why i was in germany, she was cool considering i was probably going on like an idiot (my german friend, who [was] not a s-k fan, told me afterwards "you were like a backstreet boys fan or something"). but it was super neat to meet jannika and kevin and the others (i am so so soso sorry i didn't get your names!), and hopefully we'll meet again in europe someday.
