Just wanted to give a brief review of the show today in San Fran... They were amazing, it was well worth the $200 I spent on a last minute ticket to fly up from So Cal. They played the first five songs from AHOTBO, Call The Doctor, I'm Not Waiting, Fourtante Son, Words+Guitar, Dig Me Out, Start Together, thats all I think. Of course in no particular order. I hadn't seen them in almost a year, and my God they were great. I can't wait for Tuesday and Wednesday now in LA. If anyone was there from list I was the very tall guy up front by Carrie and I am sorry if I was blocking your view, I mean it. :)

well... I drove up to SF on Sunday morning.. It was all well worth the 8 1/2 hour round trip (drive)!! (Anything for my girls!) The entire show was really cool..but of course my main concern was seeing S-K. About 20 minutes before they played, I decided to go looking for them so I could say hello and thanks. I lucked out because they had just started getting ready to play and were all standing behind the stage. Unfortunately I was too nervous to have a good conversation with any of the band members but they were gracious enough to let me get some pictures. After that, I was pumped for the show! I anticipated a large crowd towards the front of the stage...so before S-K started, I ran up front. Suddenly I was surrounded by lots of people with cameras....and even some people who didn't even know who Sleater-Kinney was!! I stood right in front of Corin. Totally amazed by the wonderful show... Start Together, All Hands On the Bad One, Ironclad, I'm Not Waiting, Yr No RnR Fun, Ballad of a Ladyman, Words & Guitar (when Carrie started to play the first notes of the song I started screaming my head off!), Little Babies, Fortunate Son, Dig Me Out, Call the Doctor, Youth Decay....and that's it I believe.. I mouthed ALL the words to all the songs...and once Carrie looked at me and smiled. It was a short set but great nonetheless. I'm so sunburned today but still giddy from seeing Sleater-Kinney again. Can't wait until the Thursday show....my poor little car! ROCK!!!!!!
