September 25, 2000 - NYC @ Bowery

They may have looked like they wanted to get the hell out of New York A.S.A.P., but they rocked the house anyway!!!!! They basically most of the same songs the first night as the second one, the setlists as i remember them were all hands, ironclad, ballad of a ladyman, joey ramone, end of you, start together, tapping, ynrrf, this really elaborate version of dig me out, and youth decay. Last night's first encore was awesome for me because they be yr. mama, which no one, (at least me) was expecting. They also played get up, jenny, things you say, one more hour, and that's really all i can remember for now. They didn't do any covers at all, which made the shows even better than the ones at irving plaza, except for the opening bands. C.O.C.O. was okay, but their songs were a bit repetitive, and on monday the white stripes bored the hell out of me, and on tuesday, Quixotic played. They sounded great, but u could barely hear the vocals, which kind of sucked. On both days, s-k didn't come out until 11-ish, and they played till like midnight, doing two encores. Carrie looked soooo hot the first day, and Corin seemed really into playing the second day, and janet as always, was supercool!!!
