Manta ray. This 4 metre manta was at Madivaru, Ari Atoll cruising around and around feeding on the plankton that cumulates on the western edge of the Maldives during the north east monsoon. |

Three white tip reef sharks. |
The tail of a white tip reef shark. This white tip reef shark was sleeping in a small hollow inside the reef. It managed to squeeze in, leaving just it's tail visible from the outside. |

Very large spotted stingray. Easily 2 metres from nose to the end of it's tail and standing around 75cm high. It was probably eating something, hence it's high body shape and an absolute reluctance to move despite my close presence. |
