I know that you feel quite lonely
and have an awful void
Even though you know the cause
It leaves you quite annoyed

So there is something I must tell you
To help your heart to mend
This advice comes from the heart
of a caring and trusting friend

Even though your dad is gone
and you can't see him face to face
You've got to be content to know
That he is in a much better place

He walks along those streets of gold
and sings a heavenly song
Even though you feel quite lost
My friend your never alone

Now he's with you all the time
Every minute of every hour of every day
It's just now that he's free from pain
So that he can run, laugh, and play

He sits among god's special angels
And saves a place for you
So you should be rejoicing
Instead of feeling blue

Whenever you want to talk to him
Just close your eyes and speak where ever you are
He will hear your every spoken word
Because he's never very far

He'll be with you forever
In as quick as a blink of the eye
He knows Your every heart beat
