Several scanned images from Norwegian and Swedish newspapers from 1925 are shown below, in miniature format. The images are also available in other, larger formats. Click on the link that suits your need; note that the larger formats may take a LONG time to download.
If you want to save an image to disk on your own computer,
there are two ways you can do it.
One way is when you are viewing the image on the screen. If you
then right-click anywhere in the image, and choose option "save
image as...", you can save directly to disk. The other way
is to right-click on one of the links below (instead of left-clicking,
which is what you would normally do to view the image). You can
then select option "save target as...".
The technical quality of the images is not very good, even in the larger formats. I have done what I can to electronically enhance them.
Please note that none of these images can be published without special permission from the copyright owners.

This image shows a headline in one of the reports, and a picture

This image is from Stockholm. It shows an invasion of the pitch
shortly before the end of one of the two games played there. The
Swedish supporters were outraged that Sommerville had kicked a
Swedish player. Newspaper reports say that some Airdrie players
were attacked and had to run away.

Finally: A cartoon from a Stockholm newspaper. The man in the
suit is asking whether the Swedes could not be allowed to borrow
the ball. The two small Swedish players are saying "Oh, what
a shame for us."
