Mine are not breeding yet as they are in relatively hard local water.

Food: Algae, wafers and pellets, cucumber and meatier foods such as bloodworm.
Temperament: Very friendly to other smaller inhabitants when not breeding.
My rather frightened male. He is usually dark browny/black with lots of little white spots and a white seam on the tail.
