Very adaptable
Size: 30cm although not usually in a home aquarium
Food: Mine take pretty much anything from cichlid pellets to cucumber to frozen food such as bloodworm, mussels and cockles. They even swallow whitebait whole.
Temperament: Friendly to other fishes although capable of eating those smaller than their mouths. Can be shy at first but eventually will be seen regularily, mine even take cichlid pellets off the surface from the mouth of my Oscar during feeding time.
