Although can adapt to harder water.
Size: 30-36 cm.
Food: They eat pretty much everything, mine likes meaty foods such as mussel and prawn as well as cichlid sticks.
Temperament: Can be difficult to keep more than one unless a sexed pair (have to buy six and when a pair forms remove the rest). Keep with anything larger than its mouth. Mine is pretty friendly and doesn't attack any of the other fish in the tank.
