Mr. Hensley
After talking to you on the phone it is plain to me that you should have informed the fishermen and fishing women & fishing children of Buckhorn Lake
BEFORE the Creel / Musky survey was conducted, that the Musky size limit and daily creel was going to be changed if the survey performed by the Dept. Of Fish & Wildlife showed it was favorable to do so. That would have been the open and honest way for this to be fair to all the fishermen of Buckhorn Lake. But by the way it was conducted, now Buckhorn Lake is going to become a Musky Guides paradise at the expense of the fishermen & fishing women & fishing children of Buckhorn Lake. And you said to me that the People (Musky Guides) came to you for information on how to have the size limit raised and you gave the information and also pointed them in the right direction on how to have this done. If the size limit was raised to protect or in some way benefit the musky population in the lake there might be some light shined on what has happened, but the Dept. Of Fish & Wildlife by there own surveys and information on there web site shows musky are doing great in Buckhorn Lake, then turn around and has let some people (Musky Guides) use the system for there personal gain, and will cause the loss and damage to the other fish in Buckhorn Lake. I am contacting ever person that needs to know what has come about in this district and see how well the Creel / Musky survey was conducted.
