The Whole Story: Years ago, Antonio's father left his family, causing major problems. Antonio, being the oldest, was expected to take care of the family at all costs. However, unknown events occured, and Julian blackmailed him into leaving Harmony.
Upon leaving Harmony, Antonio Lopez-Fitzgerald took on the name of "Brian O'Leary." He took residence on the island of St. Lisa's, where he and Liz shared a short romance.
"Brian" plucked a woman from the sea just last year, who had amnesia. The two fell in love. "Diana" ran up a huge gambling debt, and Brian entered a near-fatal car race to pay it off. This led to Antonio's terminal illness. Brian decided to take her back to his hometown...Harmony. It turned out that "Diana," the name she took up after discovering her amnesia, was Sheridan Crane!
Antonio married Sheridan, despite her love for Luis. On the night of their wedding, Antonio collapsed and was given an experimental drug. The next morning, he awoke, and the doctors reported that he had made a full recovery. Sheridan and Luis are now waiting for the right time to tell him about their love.
