The Whole Story: Liz is Eve's estranged sister, who had a love affair in the past with Antonio, whom she knew as "Brian." Their relationship didn't last very long, but Liz still has feelings for Antonio. Their relationship was obviously more important to her than it was to him. However, since "Diana" has come into "Antonio's" life, Liz has stepped back and is trying to let go of the past, despite Doc's efforts. Liz was shattered to learn about Antonio's condition.
Shortly after learning about Antonio's condition, Liz met TC, who offered a place for her to stay. However, TC's wife Eve is Liz's sister. Liz wants revenge on Eve for abandoning her. Liz was molested as a child, and blames Eve.
Family: Liz is Eve's sister. And although they don't know it, TC is her brother-in-law, and Whitney and Simone are her nieces.
