The Whole Story: Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald is the loving son of Pilar, and fiancée of Sheridan Crane. Luis has always hated the Cranes, because he has always believed that they were responsible for the death of his father. Luis hated anybody named "Crane," with a passion!
However, that all changed when he met beautiful and stubborn Sheridan Crane. The two hated each other for several months, with a passion! Little did they know, that underneath all that passion, was just that–passion!
After several attempts at destroying their love (including framing Luis), Alistair and Julian took desperate measures–they "murdered" Sheridan! Julian put a bomb on their boat, which caused a huge explosion.
Although Luis was rescued, Sheridan was nowhere to be found, and so Luis moved on with his ex-girlfriend, Beth. Little did he know, that Sheridan was indeed alive and well! Sheridan was rescued by Luis's long lost brother Antonio, whom she fell in love with shortly afterwards.
Now that Sheridan finally returned to Harmony and regained her memory, Sheridan had a tough decision to make–Antonio's life, or Luis's love. Antonio was terminally ill, and any shock could've kill him–such as the shock that Sheridan is in love with his brother! Not only that, but Luis had proposed to Beth when Sheridan (or "Diana") was dead. Beth was furious when Luis called off their engagement when Sheridan returned. Luis and Sheridan are now rejoicing, knowing that they can finally tell Antonio the truth.
Family: Luis's siblings include Paloma, Theresa, Miguel and Antonio.
Occupation: Luis is the director of the Youth Centre, as well as a police officer.
Love History: Was in love with Beth until his father disappeared. Is currently in love with Sheridan.
Best Friends: Hank Bennett is Luis' best friend.
Best Qualities: Extremely loyal, caring, compassionate, and charming.
