Chrystee Pharris joins the cast of Passions in the role of "Simone Russell," the naive, lively and vivacious youngest daughter of TC (Rodney Van Johnson) and Eve Russell (Tracey Ross). Simone believes that Chad Harris (Charles Divins) is her boyfriend, even though he only has eyes for her older sister, Whitney (Brook Kerr). Simone's best friend is Kay Bennett (Deanna Wright), even though she does not approve of Kay's manipulations to steal Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald (Jesse Metcalfe) away from Kay's cousin, Charity Standish (Molly Stanton). Simone believes that Kay is using evil to steal Miguel away from Charity.
Pharris' credits include recurring roles on "General Hospital" and "Moesha" and guest-star roles on "Sister, Sister," "Kenan and Kel" as well as a lead in the pilot for MTV's soap, "Spyder Games." Pharris graduated with a B.F.A. in Theater from Emerson College.
Her hobbies are singing, modeling and rollerblading. She was born on March 7.
