On September 19, 2002, Rodney Van Johnson, who portrays "TC Russell" on "Passions," will be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at the University of Cincinnati for his top-ranked Track and Field records. Van Johnson's sources say, "Rodney was a National and Olympic Track and Field Qualifier and his competitive records for the High Jump, Sprints and Relays are still unbeaten at his alma matter to this day!"
