A few years ago Kusadasi was a charming fisherman's town. Now it has become a major Aegean holiday resort and cruise port, attracting both Turkish and foreign tourists.
Kusadasi is located on the West-coast of Turkey and is close to the ancient city of Ephesus and to the Island Samos (Greece).
Kusadasi offers something for every type of tourist: sun & sea, lively nightlife, nature (millipark), culture, shopping, ...
Some distances (+/-):
Here's an interesting tip that I found on another website: pronounce the name "koo-SHAH-dah-suh" if you want to sound like you know what you're doing. That's the correct Turkish pronunciation. (The clueless pronounce it "KOOS-uh-DAS-see.") It means "Bird Island:" kus = bird, ada(si) = island.
