OBITUARY- STEPHEN HENRY MARS
"Stephen Mars formerly of the Town, died at the home in Washingtonville on March 12. Funeral services were held at the late home on Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev Rudolph Meier pastor of the Florida Presbyterian Church. Interment was in Warwick Cemetery. Mr. Mars was born at Bellvale on 16 Nov 1877 son of the late Stephen Mars and Anna M. DeGraw. He was a carpenter and made his home in Florida for sometime before moving to Washingtonville. He is survived by his wife, the former Bertha Ballard; a son Clinton E., president of the National Bank of Florida, a daughter Miss Helen Mars of Suffern and three grandchildren."
