And so a year has passed of my Observation Reports. Although I didn't get to Report about ever journey out with the scope, especially towards the end of the year. I got most of the important parts of the year down. From Comet C/2002 V1 NEAT to Mars towards the end of year, the trip has been a spectacular one indeed! 2003 had many events and sent me through a complete revolution of the entire sky that is visible to me. From Andromeda to Orion and from Orion to Andromeda. But as the time passes a new year begins to open another chapter in the journey through space. And we set sails once again to sail the sky, in its never ending vastness. By looking towards the sky you feel just how vast things really are. When you look at the misty light from a far away galaxy the feeling is astounding. To know that this light that is reaching your eyes is so old. Has travelled so far. The night sky has so much to reveal and so much of it is still hidden to me. Yes, a new year begins and the page turns in the ever evolving story of the universe. In here I try to tell this story to you. See what the Universe is like through my eyes. Each new event marking its own chapter in our history of the cosmos. And forever implanted in mine.
