My First Computer

An introduction to the computer and how it works.

Learn about different types of computers and programs.

Windows 95/98

Entry level course shows you the new 32 bit graphical environment by Microsoft.  Learn how to navigate within and customize your system. (12 weeks)

 

Microsoft Word and Excel

Learn how to use these popular programs by Microsoft.

(12 weeks)

 

Computer Maintenance

Learn how to configure, do basic repair and upgrade your computer. Each participant will have the opportunity to bring in his/her computer to the class. The purchasing of components for upgrading is optional and costs are the responsibility of the participant.

Language Courses

 

French Conversation (Daytime)

Practice your French with others.  Upgrade the skills you have through speaking and various activities.

(twice a week for 12 weeks)

 

Spanish Conversation (Daytime)

Practice your Spanish with others.  Upgrade the skills you have through speaking and various activities.

(twice a week for 12 weeks)

 

Intensive English Conversation

Practice your English with others.  Upgrade the skills you have through speaking and various activities. 

(Daytime: twice a week for 12 weeks)

French I

This basic course is designed for those whose first language is not French.  (twice a week for 12 weeks)

Practice your French with others.  Upgrade the skills you have through speaking, reading, writing and various activities. (12 weeks)

 

Spanish I

Buenos Dias.  This basic course is designed for those whose first language is not Spanish. (12 weeks)

 

Spanish II

Practice your Spanish with others.  Upgrade the skills you have through speaking, reading, writing, and various activities. (twice a week for 12 weeks)

 

English as a Second Language

This basic course is designed for those whose first language is not English.  (once a week for 12 weeks)

 

Leisure Courses

 

Aerobics

Stretch, tone and exercise to music at your own level.

(twice a week for 12 weeks)

 

Tai Chi

This martial art form from China helps you relax and maintain self-control.  All levels are welcome.  (12 weeks)

 

Yoga

Open to all and suitable for beginners, this class will show you the fundamental physical positions and sequences that help the body become strong, flexible, and light.
