The “Residence La
Bonbonniere” is strategically located 50 metres from the “limite de
commune” at the PASSAGE DE
PROVENCE on the map, between “Frejus-Plage” and “Saint
Raphael-Ville”, at a 1-minute-walk to the beach on the “Frejus-Plage”
side of the limits, and at a
2-minute-walk to the fishing harbour on the “Saint Raphael-Ville” side
of the same “administrative” limits. The fishing harbour is in fact, not
only the ancient historical and trade centre of the old town of Saint Raphael,
but nowadays also the most attractive area for both the day time and after
hours tourist, artistic, and by-walkers life. Simply the spot where to be in Saint Raphael! The “Frejus-Saint
Raphael administrative limits stuff” is just there as a pure tax
convenience, making it much cheaper to pay the yearly owner tax and charges in
Frejus instead of Saint Raphael. The border goes by the white stone peer on
this picture, the beach on the one side , the harbour on the other!

OXYBIAN tribes identified here in 154 B.C., themselves invaders of different
people living around here already 1 millions years ago. In this way,
it is still in use today with frequent concerts for the amateurs from both
cities and from much further away… Today’s conquerors!
