This page might be interesting for pupils, students, and all those who

would like to see the development of a peaceful and prosperous

Future Europe, from the Atlantic eastwards to the Pacific, from

Greenland to the Mediterranean and Indian Ocean shores, all on the

background of its Ancient and Modern History.

A future European cultural sphere, as a step by step extension of the

present EU, or perhaps as an improved concept, has historical, cultural,

religious, linguistic, and geographical backgrounds from Thule to the

Bering Straight, from the North Pole to the Sahara, from the Guyana

and the West Indies to the Indus Basin and the Southern Indian Ocean,

from St Pierre & Miquelon to Vladivostok and the La Perouse, Bismarck,

Bougainville, Torres, and Magellan Straights, from the Farewell Cape

to the Pamir Mountains, from Polynesia and the Southern Pacific to

the South Pole, from the Western Greenland shores to the South Atlantic

Ocean, and all land between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

With similar backgrounds, all the Americas, and Africa, are just a natural

part of this European cultural area, as well as all those who feel for it, and

who wish to see the development of a high quality of human, animal, vegetal,

and micro organic life on the planet, together with people from other linguistic

backgrounds in South-East Asia and on the Pacific Rim.

But no one should ever be considered as predestined by nobody to strain or manipulate

anybody with whatever political, ideological, religious, economical, financial, monetary,

or business instrument, in any “machiavellic”, mythic, or super strategic game.

Both Dr Strangelove and the Inquisition should remain belonging to screen art and History

books.

based on the substantial amount of knowledge references and information material presented

From Florence to Machiavelli’s house. About 15 km South of Florence, Italy, in Sant'Andrea in

Percussina, Machiavelli’s house where he wrote The Prince is now a museum. It is near San

Casciano Val di Pesa on the map www.mappoint.com, exit the motorway A1 at Firenze

Certosa, or the Siena motorway at San Casciano Val di Pesa. Across the road from

Machiavelli's residence, you’ll find l’ Albergaccio - Taverna Machiavelli. This place was most

certainly where he used to hang out, since it was the old neighborhood tavern. Five centuries

later, it's a fine restaurant with a typical Tuscan menu and an extensive wine list. About 8 Euro

(2003). This is also a great place to stop for a merenda (afternoon snack) of bruschetta (grilled

bread rubbed with garlic, brushed with olive oil, and topped with fresh tomatoes) and a glass

of wine (their own Chianti, of course). Proprietors of the restaurant will take clients across the
