The following is a brief statement concerning what I believe about the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, and the disciples of Jesus.
I believe that God is one single person, the Father alone. The only true God is Jesus Christ's God, the God of our Lord, his Father alone. The God of our Lord's servants is the God of our Lord.
I believe that Jesus is an extraordinary human being who was conceived in the bosom of the Father before the foundation of the world and manifested as a self conscious person in the fullness of time, begotten in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the King. This human being was the promised one, the prophesied one, the predestined one, the chosen one, the Messiah, God's prophet, God's anointed, God's salvation. He was a mere human being who was human like us in every respect. But he was a very special human being since he was chosen by God and raised up by God to be the Savior of the world. Having been baptized by John the Baptist at the Jordan, the man Jesus was anointed by God in the Spirit and sent into the world. The Father put His words in Jesus' mouth and the Father did mighty works through him. For this reason, this man of flesh was/is the Father's Word to us. That flesh named Jesus explained/expressed the Father in terms of all the things he said and did during his ministry. He was crucified and hung dead on a cross in Jerusalem as a sacrifice for the sins of men. Because of his humble obedience to his God, God highly exalted him when He raised him from the dead and gave him all authority in heaven and on earth, placing all the works of His hands under Jesus' feet. Even the angels were subjected to the risen man Jesus. When he was raised from the dead, his crucified body was clothed in the life-giving Spirit of his Father, the divine nature of God, and became a new creation, a new kind of humanity, a divine man. He was put to death in the flesh and made alive in the Spirit. We no longer know Jesus according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. He was crucified in weakness but lives by the power of his God.
I believe the Holy Spirit is what God the Father is, the divine nature of our Holy God. God's sons are those who have walked by His Spirit and who will be consumed and clothed by His Spirit in the resurrection. Spirit is what the Father is and now having been bodily clothed in the Holy Spirit of the Father, Spirit is what the crucified and risen Jesus is. In Christ, we are members of his body, and being members of his body, we are partakers of the divine nature, the resurrection life of his body, that is, the Holy Spirit of the Living God.
The servants of our Lord Jesus are his brothers, Jesus being the firstborn of many brothers, the firstborn out of the dead. They are sons of God having been begotten of God just as Jesus was begotten of God. God is their Father and they are his sons if indeed they walk according to His Spirit. They have died with Christ to this world and were raised up anew with him into the resurrection life of the Holy Spirit. They are anointed Priests and Kings to Jesus' God and Father and they will be glorified with him and reign with Jesus if indeed they suffer with him. His disciples are only those who pick up their own cross and walk as Jesus walked, suffer as he suffered, living stones who yield up their bodies as living sacrifices to God. Our God is the God of Jesus, the God and Father of our Lord who rules all creation in the name of our Father. God will judge all mankind through the man he has appointed. As Jesus rules in the name of our Father, he will judge in the name of our Father.
Jesus and his apostles warned us that false prophets/teachers would arise among the people of God and these wolves would not spare the flock but deceive them with well-turned words. But many people do not listen and heed the warnings because they truly love their idols. Idolatry has plagued the history of the people of God since Israel made a golden calf for themselves. Over and over, the Scriptures tell us, God would deliver His people and they would henceforth turn to idolatry and do evil in the eyes of God. These things were written for our instruction and as warnings to us. The Trinity is just one more man-made idol, an abomination in the eyes of the God of our Lord. This three-person-being is the product of the minds of corrupt men who do not know God or his Son. This imagined up god is not the God of our Lord Jesus nor the God of his disciples who serve his God. We serve the Living God who Jesus makes known to us, his God, the Living and True God, our Father, the God and Father of the children of God who begat us by His Spirit, our God who makes his home in us. We are God's House, Loving Stones, the Temple of the Living God. Those of the world do not know us because they do not know Him. The whole creation groans awaiting the revelation of the sons of God, the redemption of the body.
