Our God

For each of the following, ask yourself if the Triune God is our God.

[Jesus]: I am ascending to my Father, and your Father, and to my God, and to your God. (John 20:17).

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, unceasingly remembering of you the work of the faith, and the labour of the love, and the endurance of the hope, of our Lord Jesus Christ, in the presence of our God and Father (1 Thessalonians 1:2-3).

The Father Our God

Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world. (James 1:27).

Our one God, the Father

There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. (Ephesians 4:6).

He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son (Revelation 21:3).
