John F. Kennedy Assassination

President John Fitzgerald Kennedy and his wife, Jacqueline, arriving at Dallas' Love Field on November 22, 1963, as part of an early campaign effort to rally new support for a second term and raise funds for the Democratic Party. One hour later, Kennedy will be assassinated while riding in a motorcade as it passes along Elm Street, 200 feet from the Texas School Book Depository, where Lee Harvey Oswald awaits at a sixth floor window.

Stills from the 478 frames of the most scrutinized amateur film footage ever exposed, shot by Abraham Zapruder, a clothing manufacturer, using a 8mm Bell & Howell, show critical moments of Kennedy's assassination.
