Branded on the scroll "Conservatory Violin Vuillaume"
The two piece back is of a faint to medium curl with matching ribs, neck and scroll. The belly is of a fine grain spruce.
The varnish is of a light yellow brown colour on a light yellow base.
The instrument is in excellent condition and had brand new strings.
Included in this auction is a pernambuco bow - Valued at $1200, in excellent condition. Also includes a spare bow.
Comes in hard case with Hygrometer, holds 4 bows, violin is strapped in, has velvet trim and violin cover.
