Sites

Here you will find other websites that have information about

sexual abuse and incest.

Bearing Through It  -  I list this site first because this site has helped me the most and still continues to help me and gives me the support I/we need the most.  This site includes a lot of important information regarding sexual abuse and incest.  It also includes message boards for survivors to share their stories and support each other throughout their journey to heal.  This is my favorite website and I would recommend any one who is a survivor to visit this site.

RAINN  -  This is a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. that operates a national toll-free hotline for victims of sexual assault.

Male Survivors  -  This is the National Organization Against Male Sexual Violence website.  It contains wonderful, hard to find statistics and help for male victims of sexual assault and abuse.  Specifically...look under the category "survivors" on the main page.

Survivors of Incest Anonymous  -  Survivors of Incest Anonymous is a 12-step self-help recovery program for adult survivors of child sexual abuse.

V.O.I.C.E.S. in Action  -  V.O.I.C.E.S. is an international organization providing assistance to victims of incest and child sexual abuse. This nonprofit organization offers free referral services, newsletters, a new members' Survival Kit, an annual conference, and special interest groups for networking.

Way 2 Hope  -  This page includes an article and links to other relevant sites & books,
to give you a Way to Hope to recover from abuse.

Hope for Healing  -  The Mission of Hope For Healing is to educate, inform, comfort, help and give Christian support to survivors of sexual and domestic violence, their family, friends and hope to the people who love them.

Tri-County Council  -  Tri-County Council's focus is on the primary victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault with many of their services tailored specifically towards dealing with immediate crises and then providing support and assistance along the path of healing.  They also offer services and support to the secondary victims (family, friends, community) of those crimes and work at providing educational opportunities for the community, schools, support professionals and local organizations.
