Dear Friend,

 

 If I could make

the blue you feel

Several shades lighter.

I would.

 

If I could give you something

that would lessen the pain

That must be endured to heal,

I would.

 

What I can give you

is continued , unconditional

Love and support; through

your healing

And outside of it,

Night or day.

 

Most important though,

I can be

A  constant reminder to you

Of what a beautiful

and worthy soul you are.

 

With this constant reinforcement,

will come a day

That you are able to see and feel yourself

In the same way I do.

 

Grace and innocence,

Mixed with experiences

From the darkest imaginable

side of life.

 

Courageous, steadfast,

for in surviving this, you have

Become a tower of strength.

 

Possessing compassion, sensitivity,

generosity and love,

Much more than most.

A creative and beautiful woman,

Inside and out,

freely giving of your graces

To the world.

 

Intelligent, productive, vibrant,

taking the steps that you have to,

To make your life

what you want it to be,

Even when it's tough and frustrating.

 

You are a Gem

of a Soul,

person, and friend.
