Silent Rage

Lonely girl in her shattered dreams
Treading Lightly in a poisoned stream
Tries to speak what she  
should not say,
But no one listens anyway.
Screams for help in a silent rage
No escape from a mental cage
 
Even though she'd rather die
She locks it inside and there it lies.
Sitting on the old man's knees
Daddy wants to be appeased
"You know what I want
So don't be a tease,
Be nice to daddy  
Pretty baby please".

Running fast  
To her mother's side,
Trying desperately to hide.
Telling mommy what she  
Locked inside,
But mommy says that these are lies.
"Take your coat
And sit outside,  
No one wants to hear your cries!
