We, the people of the world, say to you:
Yes, we can!

Yes, we can question authority.

Yes, we can speak truth to tyrants.

Yes, we can refuse to serve dictatorship.

Yes, we can welcome all people as brothers and sisters.

Yes, we can forgive tyranny its excesses,
Love dictators and send them on their way.

Yes, we can welcome a new day
In which force will not prevail.

Yes, we can!
