Introduction: Read all directions first before doing anything else.

1. Start up your laptop
2. Open an Internet Connection
3. Go to this site: BrainPop If link is not workiing type in the URL.
4. Select and view the movie on Atomic Model.
5. Take the graded quiz.
6. Print out your results.

Today’s lesson is to help you familiarize yourself with Glencoe's website. This website will assist you with homework assignments and even help you prepare for tests.

We are now ready to start. Read all directions before clicking on the link.

1. Click on the Student Center link.
2. From the left menu bar choose Unit 2 and Chapter 7.
3. Underneath Resources: Click on BrainPop movies and choose Waves.Play the Movie ONLY!!! NO TEST!!!!
4. Next under Chapter Activities on the left menu bar, choose Vocabulary eFlashcards. Make sure to write down the definition for aurora on the back of the BrainPop test result paper.
5. Next choose: Math Practice. Do all of the problems 1-10 and show your work on the back of the BrainPop test result paper. (left hand side)
6. Next choose: Chapter Review Quiz. Record your answers on the back of the BrainPop test result paper. (right hand side)
7. Choose Virtual Labs and explore waves.

1. Click on the following link: Chem4kids
2. Click on elements and look at the periodic table.
3. Click on any element you want to check the spelling on!
4. You can try the element quiz if you like, but it has more than you need to know.
