Aki Berg is a big solid defenseman with the potential to break out any time soon. He came in a deal from the Nashville Predators. Thus far he has impressed everyone in the Atlanta Thrashers from the general manager Brian Blake to the coach Brian Sutter to the Atlanta Thrashers fans. He has started to use his size more effectively this season as he has a 6'3 and 200 lb frame which is quite big. Always has been solid defensively, as solid as a rock and has very few defense lapses and very rarely commits an error in his own end. He has a very hard shot from the point but his offensive numbers arent there, but they can be improved and this season Aki-Patteri has been improving his offensive game and it is showing. He will be a solid defenseman down the road.
