Craig MacTavish is the third coach in the history of the Atlanta Thrashers CTCHL organization. General Manager Brian Blake hired MacTavish to replace Brian Sutter as the team was not meeting expectations. The team has some very skilled players and MacTavish is brought in to point them in the right direction teaching the players that hard work comes first. All teams work hard and you will not win many games without hard work. After the hard work skill takes over and wins games as well. MacTavish will provide leadership, experience as well as solid offense and defense. MacTavish was the last player in hockey history to play without a helmet as he got used to the old style of hockey. Craig MacTavish will have to turn this team around and get it going.
