Dany Heatley is Atlanta's franchise player. He is said to be the future of this team and the Atlanta Thrashers are building around him and Simon Gagne. Like in the NHL, Dany Heatley won the rookie of the year in the CTCHL as well. The Atlanta Thrashers will have a very good and young 1-2 punch on the left side as both Simon Gagne and Dany Heatley are the team's franchise players. He has won numerous awards for being Atlanta's top prospects and one of the best players in the NCAA. Before turning pro, Heatley played in the NCAA University league for the University of Wisconsin Badgers. In the future, Heatley should become one of the best powerforwards in the game, as well as one of the best players in the game. He should conisitantly be in the top 10 scoring in the future.
